Company Chameleon are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced male dancer to join our artistic team on a freelance basis.
We are looking for an experienced dance theatre artist, who has excellent contemporary technique and contact improvisation / partnering skills.
Essentials include at least two years touring experience, extensive performance experience, familiarity and openness to different choreographic approaches and proficient teaching skills. The post will cover two main areas of responsibility:
- Rehearse and perform in Company repertoire at indoor theatre venues and outdoor festivals across the UK and abroad.
- Actively engage in the delivery of our learning and participation programmes, which includes delivering workshops and masterclasses with a wide range of age and ability groups.
Whilst the role primarily involves working in the Company’s home base of Manchester, the successful candidate will also be expected to tour nationally and internationally throughout the year – locations will vary depending on the Company’s touring schedule and projects taking place at that time.
