THE SATURDAY SESSIONS
Creating opportunity for young people, age 10 to 16, to explore our unique dance and movement style, The Saturday Sessions are back for a new series.
The classes take place from Saturday 15 May to Saturday 26 June, 11am-12noon, and provide the perfect way to start the weekend.
The fun, physical and interactive sessions will be co-led by our very own Amber Calland, and artists including Company Dancers, Juliana Javier and David Colley; Associate Artist, Sara Marques; and guest dance artist, Dom Coffey.
Amber, is one the stars of North West youth dance provision. Here at Chameleon, she is our Dance Development Artist, developing our regional dance activity for young people. In the past year, she has taught dance in over 30 schools across Manchester!
Each week of The Saturday Sessions will follow a different theme and offer a chance for young people to develop their dance technique and explore their creativity through dance. All experience levels are welcome.
(Note: there will be no class on Saturday 5 June, over half term).
As renovations take place in our main studio, our spring and summer programme continues to be broadcast on zoom.
A big thank you to everyone who has supported our online programme so far.
We genuinely can’t wait to connect with you and the dance community over the spring and summer months.
