3 October 2023Company Chameleon are looking for Board members and a young Board member, aged between 17 and 25, to join the governing body of one of the UK’s most exciting dance organisations.
At Chameleon, we are driven by our purpose – to change the narrative through dance. We consistently push the boundaries of movement to connect and empower people and communities through unique dance experiences.
We believe in dance as an agent to address inequality through creating opportunity and motivating change for a more balanced and representative world, which includes the dance sector.
Chameleon’s dance style is creative and accessible. People are often surprised by what they see. Our movement style breaks with traditional perceptions around dance and explores themes that are relatable and common to everyone.
Our unique approach follows through to the classes, workshops, and opportunities to get involved at our home studio in Openshaw, Manchester, which has inspired our vision to develop a dance hub packed with possibilities and pathways for everyone.

We are looking for new Board members who can act as inspirational and influential advocates and help steer the organisation through the next phase of development.
We are interested in hearing from prospective members who can bring new skills, knowledge and contacts to Company Chameleon, and we’re particularly interested in applications from candidates with experience in areas such as engagement, production, business and commercial.
