Chameleon presents: UPLIFT 2026

13 October 2026

Join us in our studio on Friday 21 November for a triple bill showcasing some of the North West’s most exciting dance makers!

We’re proud to present three exciting new works-in-progress from this year’s UPLIFT artists: Gone Rogue, Katherine Hollinson and JP Hon.

This autumn, the artists have been in residence at Company Chameleon, experimenting, creating and making new work with the support of Chameleon’s creative team. The performance on Friday 21 November is a chance to see what they’ve been up to and feedback on their creations so far!

During the evening, you’ll be the first to see the premiere of our new film ‘3 FEET DEEP’ featuring our Chameleon Youth Senior dancers. You’ll also get the chance to experience an interactive drop-in with Travis and Tristan from Attempts of Beauty to trial their new work.

This year’s supported artists are:

Gone Rogue (they/them)

Gone Rogue are a queer anonymous collective. Their work centres stories of non- or partially-disclosed queerness, drawing from lived experience and conversations with communities to create dance telling felt, real stories of queer lives. Gone Rogue has been supported by Word of Warning, Company of Others, Queer East Festival and The Old Courts.

Katherine Hollinson (she/her)

Katherine Hollinson (she/her) is a Manchester-based performer, maker, and facilitator working across dance, live performance and participatory projects. In 2018, Katherine moved back to Manchester to have her first child. Parenthood, and the effects of the pandemic, accelerated a shift in her practice towards work that is playful, co-created and rooted in community.
