Umbra, meaning ‘shadow’ in Latin, is a trio, which looks at the sources of light and darkness that are within us. How these make us different and the same as each other.
The piece explores how we share and hide feelings with different people. How our communication and behaviour changes depending on who we are with.
Highly physical and theatrical, Umbra delves deep into our fears and desires. Acknowledging that what makes us different from each other, is also what makes us universal.
Fast paced and dynamic and with solo, duet and trio performances, Umbra is an invitation to pause and understand ourselves better.
