Our artist development programme is designed to help you push forward your practice, develop your craft, and meet and connect with other dance artists across the region. Join us this Autumn and be part of it.
Train in a mix of movement styles at Company Class and Midweek Moves; experiment, improvise and jam at Open Floor; and fast-track your skills at Beyond the Studio.

COMPANY CLASS
Fast paced and dynamic, Company Class is a fantastic free opportunity for final year students and professional dancers to push forward their practice in high quality classes which engage a mix of movement styles, focuses and techniques.

OPEN FLOOR
Digital art, projection mapping, playful lighting and live music come together, as we host the brilliant Test Card to jam alongside movers and musicians. Join us for an evening of digital dance jams, live music and cross art experimentation.
A collaboration between Company Chameleon, Dance@Salford and Low Four, OPEN FLOOR is a space to play, share and connect.

Our pay as you feel event series is back with three workshops to help you develop your skills beyond the studio and carve out your dance career with confidence.

MIDWEEK MOVES with NIGHT PEOPLE
At Midweek Moves, we hand over our studio to a guest artist to deliver a dance class on Wednesday evenings. This Autumn, we’re delighted to welcome Night People for Midweek Moves.
Think camp, catwalk, bass and heavy anthems in this fun, sociable and physically driven class! The class schedule includes a mix of separate classes for professionals and beginners.

At Company Chameleon, we’re committed to raising the bar for dance in Greater Manchester. To us, this means nurturing and supporting a diverse community of dance makers with different voices, histories and stories. The event programme celebrates this commitment and we’d love you to get involved.
P.S. Need a studio space?
We offer reduced studio hire rates for Greater Manchester dance artists. We also offer last minute studio hire, subject to availability, for just £20 a day!
A converted schoolhouse with original features and a welcoming atmosphere, we have four dance studios available to hire.
Close to Manchester city centre, we are a few minute’s walk from Gorton train station, and we offer free and secure car and cycle parking. Find out more in our online brochure here.
