This year has marked a period of exceptional momentum and impact for Company Chameleon, as we continue to grow in confidence, ambition and reach.
Building on a new approach to more comprehensive annual reporting, 2025 stands out as a year in which we not only met but consistently exceeded our strategic objectives, activity targets and success measures, across creation, touring, engagement and organisational development.
As Greater Manchester’s leading dance organisation, and the only regularly funded dance company in the region, we have deepened our role within the city-region’s cultural fabric while showcasing our work nationally and internationally.
Demand for our performances and programmes has continued to outstrip capacity, reflecting both the quality and distinctiveness of Chameleon’s artistic voice and our commitment to meaningful, socially engaged practice.
This Annual Review celebrates a resilient, agile and values-driven organisation on the cusp of its 20th anniversary, powered by a small but remarkable team, visionary artistic leadership and strategic partnerships across sectors.
It offers a snapshot of an organisation that is not only delivering world-class dance, but also shaping a more equitable, connected and creatively thriving dance ecology for Greater Manchester and beyond.
